Another "Backpackers Style" Breakaway

A breathtaking scenery - Club Med Cherating beach

We were in Cherating in Febr - a short break after long months of working (Nov to Jan). Take a slow drive there and starts our journey as early as 7am. Arrive Cheratin around 11am. Manage to find a place to stay - Tanjung Inn - a very simple place i.e. aircond, heater and tv.

Our stomach start to make noise. Guess what.... we gonna drive again to Chukai in Terengganu/Pahang border to have our lunch - stuffed crab, mmmmm.
Stop by the roadside to buy Fish Crackers - Sally, Nava and Yin Fong with the crackers seller.

Check it out... Who's that girl................
Didi dada didi dada... arrived our guest house quite late afternoon - as we drop by at the Club Med for a while.
Can't wait to go to the beach, get change and .... beach..... here we come. Myself and Yin Fong didn't go into the water but Nav and Sally.... huh, like 10-days never see water. I was just lying by the beach, wanted to read my story book but end up I doze off zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

The girls are soaked with sand

So called "three happy monkey"....

Yin Fong (with her story book, let see if she can concentrate reading or just dozz off like me), Nava and Sally....

Sally with her 'ala' Miss World pose.....
Had our simple dinner at one of the local food stall. When we pass by the shops there, these people (I guess must be the locals) staring at us like we are wearing nothing. I've already noticed this in the evening when we stop by (came back from lunch) to buy drinks.
After dinner, just browse around the souvenirs shop.

This is our guest house - part of it is in the water, some kind of small lake with full of lotus.

Nava, by the window (don't know what is she waiting for????). Sally peeps out from the side - what is she peeps at huh? check out a guy or ???

Another type of guest houses overlooking ours - it is so green and fresh there.

In the morning.... aaaahhhhhhhh..... the air is so fresh
We left Cherating about 10 in the morning, take a slow drive to Balok beach. Had our lunch at 'Pak Su Seafood' - the food is ok lah...
Reach KL around 7pm.
Had a good time in Cherating and there goes our weekend - but a good one!
I was there again in June and the place looked run down, they don't really maintain it.

A Weekend Breakway in Cameron Highlands

November 2005, me and my friends went to Cameron Highland (this is the first time for me). Quite interesting though its raining. Just stay a night there - a weekend breakaway. We stayed at a backpackers place - also the first time me staying in backpackers (a try out for me before I can join Nava for a further backpackers holiday).

Above are my friends - far left is Sally, Nava with her piece sign and Yin Fong at Cactus Valley.
We were trapped at the Cactus Valley for almost 2-hours as there were no cabs pass by this place due to the heavy rain and furthermore its already quite late afternoon.

We are at the Police quarters of Cameron Highland (chief police of CH in yellow) and the uncle next to Yin Fong (the owner of Cactus Valley) is so kind enough to drop us at his cactus farm.

Nava and Sally at Tanah Rata town.

We enjoy our weekend in Cameron Highlands though it was raining.

Note: Dont forget to go to the "J Ts" restaurant as the Mango Lassi is superb. Also try out the Cameronian's scones... mmm....yummy.

My Campus Life

Myself with my lecturer, Tn Haji Romle and friends during the last meeting before sitting for final exam.

I am doing my part time studies at Univ Utara Malaysia, KL Campus. Started last November. My lecturer (in purple batik) Tn Hj Romle, one of the best lecturer we had for that semester. His lecture is on Sunday (the best day to wake up late), but because of his class my laziness all gone :-)

Sir Hillal - a "father like" lecturer

A leisure class by Sir Hillal - thats what I called his lecture. A not so difficult subject, Communication.

Our dear lecturer, Dr. Zahar.

This lecturer's class also a fun one, as he will show up some video before starts lecturing and some of the show is really touching. During mother's day he read out a 'sajak' on mother, God.... almost everybody cry but I as usual control not to cry (I managed).

This is Ustaz Kamarudin (in Songkok)

And this is our Ustaz Kamarudin. His subject though its more about Islamic knowledge (which I am very weak) but it fun.

Have few more lecturer who we didn't manage to capture a shot with them - Cik Syarifah, Cik Emy Ezura, En Azmi and Cik Hardayanna.

Below is a picture during our Ko-K project (lecture: En. Azmi) in Kg Baru - Hapuskan Aedes project by Titiwangsa Parliament.

This is my sweet little one.... Moris baby - my best friend's son.

Myself and Moris when he was 1year+.
This Sept Moril will turn 3.

Wet look.... by Moris

Me and Roman

Early this year, Moris had a brother - Roman. Cute as his brother. The best part about Roman.... we share the same birth month, January.

Before this (the arrival of both of them), I don't like babies especially when they cry... uurrrrrgggggggghhhhhh! But surprisingly, i fell in love with them and if you ask me what is my feelings now... I miss them so much. Miss talking to Moris and miss the smells of Roman.

Ha.. ha.. guest who is this? ..... Roman with his the one and only tooth

Note: To all of them, hope we will see each other again one day - miss you guys so much.
